Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya/Malang - Madakaripura - Mt Bromo area

07:00 – 10:00: Pick-up time at Surabaya or Malang and go to Madakaripura Waterfall
11:00 – 13:00: Explore Madakaripura Watefall
13:00 – 13:30: Continue to your accommodation at Bromo area (check-in)
Free time
Our guide will take you to a nearby restaurant for dinner

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise - Crater - Bondowoso

02:00 – 03:30: Pick up in the early morning and head to Sunrise View Point using a 4WD jeep
03:30 – 05:00: Take a coffee break while waiting for the sunrise
05:00 – 06:00: Enjoy Mt Bromo Sunrise
06:00 – 07:00: Head to Mt Bromo crater
07:00 – 08:00: Walk up to the top of Mt Bromo
08:00 – 10:00: Drive back to your accommodation & stop by for breakfast
10:00 – 15:30: Check-out. Continue to drive to your hotel in Bondowoso with a stopover for lunch

Our guide will take you to a nearby restaurant for dinner

Day 3: Mount Ijen - Ketapang Port or Surabaya/Malang

23:30 – 02:00: Wake up early and drive to Paltuding of Mt. Ijen (Breakfast box will be provided)
02:00 – 04:00: Start trekking to the top of Mt.Ijen to witness the blue fire phenomenon (If the blue fire site is closed for safety reasons, we will tell you earlier)
04:00 – 06:00: Enjoy the amazing sunrise and view of Mt.Ijen from the top
07:30 – 08:00: Have breakfast & back to your hotel
10:00 – 16:00: Hotel check out and drive back to Surabaya or Malang
If you want to drop off at Ketapang Port Banyuwangi, we will drop you off directly after the Ijen. There is no need to go back to the hotel

Which accommodation will I be staying at?

We will book GUBUK NDESO HOMESTAY at Bromo and RIVERSIDE HOMESTAY at Bondowoso for you. If they are fully booking we will find other similar.

What items I should bring?

Don’t forget to pack your warm jacket, trekking shoes, waterproof sandals, and any personalized medicine you may need. We will also provide you with a headlamp when trekking at Mt.Ijen
Ijen Regulation: All visitors must have a medical certificate issued no more than 2 days before arrival. We will help you to get the certificate.

Can I drop off at different location?

This tour requires returning to the arrival point where we pick you up. But we can drop you off at Surabaya Aiport, Ketapang Port or even Bali at an additional cost.
