Get ready for an amazing 2-day Mount Bromo Ijen tour to see two famous Indonesian volcanoes – Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen. We’ll show you the stunning sunrise views from these volcanoes. This tour is perfect for you if you want to make the most of your time and see both Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen in two days. You will start at midnight to catch the sunrise at Mount Bromo, and then continue on to Mount Ijen in the next day.
Tour Itinerary
- 00:05 (Midnight): Pick up from Surabaya/Malang & drive to Bromo village (2 hours).
- 02:30: Jeep ride to Sunrise View Point for breathtaking sunrise.
- 05:00: Witness sunrise, explore Widodaren View & hike to Bromo crater rim.
- 06:00: Enjoy crater view, breakfast & return to village.
- 10:00: Change to car & drive to Bondowoso (3 hours, lunch stop).
- 14:30: Arrive at Bondowoso, check-in (Riverside Homestay).
- 18:00: Dinner & relax at hotel (prepare for next day’s pick-up).
- 00:05: Pick up, depart for Paltuding (Ijen parking area)
- 02:00: Start hike, reach summit, enjoy views & sunrise
- 06:00: Trek down, have a breakfast, back to Bondowoso
- 09:00: Relax at hotel (Bondowoso)
- 11:00: Check out, depart for Surabaya/Malang (4 hr drive)
- If you want to drop off at Ketapang Port, bring your luggages when pick up at midnight and we will directly to go to Ketapang after ijen
- 15:30: Tour ends (drop off at designated location)

Please note that going down into Ijen’s crater to witness the Blue Flames is officially not allowed under any circumstances. The Indonesian Volcanology Department has set this as an official rule. However, if you wish to see the blueflames, you will take the risk by your own.
Yes, of course we can drop you off at Ketapang Port if you want to continue to Bali. However, there is an extra cost. Add the extra when checkout!
Yes, of course we can drop you off at Surabaya Airport. However, there is an extra cost if you start from Malang and want to drop off at the Surabaya Airport after the tour. Don’t forget to add extra when checkout!
