Tour Itinerary
- 07:00-11:00 – Our driver and guide will meet you at Surabaya/Malang Airport or Train Station
- 10:30 – Depart for Madakaripura Waterfall.
- 12:30 – Arrive at the waterfall and explore the scenic area with a local guide.
- 13:00 – Continue the journey to the Mount Bromo area for homestay check-in.
- 14:30 – Arrive at your homestay and take some time to rest.
- 18:30 – Optional dinner at a nearby restaurant with our guide.
- 20:00 – Return to the homestay and prepare for an early morning adventure
- 02:30 – Your jeep driver and guide will pick you up for the journey to the Sunrise Viewpoint.
- 03:30 – Arrive at the viewpoint. While waiting for sunrise, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
- 04:30 – Witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo.
- 06:00 – Head back to the jeep and drive to Widodaren Hill, a fantastic spot for stunning photos. Then, continue to the jeep parking area on the sea of sand. From there, it’s a 45-minute walk to Mount Bromo’s summit (or an optional horse ride). Once at the top, take in the view of the steaming crater before heading back.
- 08:30 – Return to the jeep and proceed to Lava View Restaurant for breakfast. Afterward, head back to your homestay.
- 10:00 – Arrive at the homestay and prepare for check-out.
- 11:30 – Depart for Tumpak Sewu, a scenic 3-hour drive with an optional lunch stop along the way.
- 14:30 – Arrive at Tumpak Sewu and check in at Kaliningrad Cottages.
- 18:00 – Optional dinner at a nearby restaurant
- 19:00 – Return to your hotel and get ready for an early morning adventure.
- 05:30 – Wake up and enjoy breakfast to get ready for the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall adventure.
- 06:30 – A short 5-minute drive will take you to the entrance of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
- 06:40 – Begin exploring the breathtaking Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Our local guide will accompany you on the hike down to the base. Be sure to wear sturdy, non-slip sandals or trekking shoes. You’ll also visit Tetes Cave, a hidden gem within the Tumpak Sewu area.
- 10:30 – After soaking in the beauty of Tumpak Sewu, head back to the homestay to check out.
- 11:30 – Depart for Bondowoso (approx. 4-hour drive). You’ll have the opportunity to stop for lunch along the way.
- 15:30 – Arrive in Bondowoso and check in to your hotel.
- 18:00 – Our guide will take you to a local restaurant for dinner.
- 19:00 – Return to your hotel and rest up for the midnight pick-up.
- 00:05 – Get ready to go to Paltuding, the parking area for Mount Ijen. It will take about 2 hours by car.
- 02:00 – Arrive at Paltuding and start hiking up to the top of Mount Ijen with a local guide. Once you reach the top, trek down to see blue flames, watch the sunrise, and see the acid lake from up there.
- 06:00 – Trek back down to the parking area & have breakfast packed from the hotel
- 07:30 – Back to your hotel and prepare for check-out
- 11:00 – Hotel check out and back to Surabaya

You have two payment options for the tour. You can either pay in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in cash when we pick you up, or use your Credit/Debit Card. If you choose the card option, we will process your card through our online payment system, However, there will be an additional of 4% as transaction fee.
- Ijen Regulation: All visitors must have a medical certificate issued no more than 2 days before their arrival.
- Don’t forget to pack your warm jacket, trekking shoes and any personalized medicine you may need.
Please note that going down into Ijen’s crater to witness the Blue Flames is officially not allowed under any circumstances. The Indonesian Volcanology Department has set this as an official rule. However, if you wish to see the blueflames, you will take the risk by your own.
