Get ready for an amazing 3-day adventure in Indonesia! This tour takes you to three incredible places: Mount Bromo, Kawah Ijen, and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. You’ll see the sunrise from the top of Mount Bromo, hike to a crater with blue fire at Kawah Ijen, and be amazed by the beauty of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. This tour is perfect for adventurous people who love nature and want to see some of Indonesia’s most beautiful sights. It involves some hiking, so be prepared for a bit of exercise. The weather can change quickly, so bring layers of clothing. And don’t forget your camera to capture all the incredible memories you’ll make!

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya/Malang - Tumpak Sewu Waterfall - Mt Bromo area

05:00 – 09:30: Depart from Surabaya or Malang to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
09:30 – 12:30: Explore Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Goa Tetes Cave
12:30 – 16:30: Continue to drive to Hotel in the Mt Bromo area (check-in)
Free time
Our guide will take you to a nearby restaurant for dinner (Optional)

Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise - Bondowoso

02:00 – 04:00: Pick up in the early morning and go to Sunrise Viewpoint by using a 4WD Bromo Jeep
04:00 – 05:00: Have a coffee break while waiting for the sunrise
05:00 – 06:00: Watch and enjoy the Bromo sunrise
06:00 – 07:00: Drive to Mount Bromo crater
07:00 – 08:00: Walk to the top of Mount Bromo
08:00 – 09:00: Drive back to the hotel and stop by for breakfast
09:00 – 16:00: Check out. Continue to your hotel in Bondowoso

Day 3: Mount Ijen - Ketapang Port or Surabaya/Malang

23:00 – 02:00: Pick up in the early morning and go to Paltuding of Mount Ijen Crater (Breakfast provided in a box)
02:00 – 04:00: Start an hour’s trek to the top of Mount Ijen to witness the Blue Fire phenomenon (If the Blue Fire site is closed for safety reasons, we will tell you earlier)
04:00 – 06:00: Enjoy the amazing sunrise and view of Mt.Ijen from the top
07:30 – 08:00: Have breakfast & go back to your hotel
10:00 – 15:00: Hotel check out and drive back to Surabaya or Malang
You will probably arrive at Surabaya around 15:00 (3:00 PM)
If you want to drop off at Ketapang Port, Banyuwangi, we will drop you off directly after the Ijen. There is no need to go back to the hotel. You will probably arrive at Ketapang Port around 10:00 AM

How do I book the tour?

For payment, you can choose “Pay Now” or “Pay on Arrival”—whichever feels easier. On the tour day, payments can be made in cash or by credit/debit card.

What payment methods do you provide?

We accept payments in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, AUD, and HKD. You can pay securely by credit/debit card or settle the payment upon arrival. When checking out, please make sure you’ve selected your preferred currency. We also support bank transfers via Wise or Revolut for your convenience.

Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is accepted for Cash on Arrival or via bank transfer (Wise or Revolut).

Where will we stay during the tour?

We’ll arrange Mount View Cottage Bromo for your stay in Bromo and Riverside Homestay in Bondowoso (before Ijen). If either property is fully booked, we’ll find a similar alternative for you.

Would it be possible to visit Madakaripura Waterfall as well?

You’re welcome to visit Madakaripura Waterfall (don’t forget to add this extra when checkout your booking) after checking out from your Bromo homestay before heading to Bondowoso (the nearest city to Ijen). Just keep in mind that you’ll arrive in Bondowoso a bit later than usual, and you might get less rest before the Ijen hike.

What items I should bring?

Don’t forget to pack your warm jacket, trekking shoes, waterproof sandals, and any personalized medicine you may need.

Can you drop us off at Ketapang Port after the tour?

Yes, we can definitely drop you off at Ketapang Port if you’re continuing to Bali. There is no extra cost for this. It is free!
