Experience the amazing Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, also called the “Niagara of Java.” On this one-day tour, you will see the beautiful waterfall from above and then walk down through the jungle and rivers to reach the bottom. The fresh air, green nature, and flowing water make this a special place to visit.
After exploring Tumpak Sewu, you will visit Goa Tetes, a small cave with water flowing down the rocks. This trip is perfect for people who love nature and adventure. The tour starts from Malang or Surabaya and is a great way to see East Java’s natural beauty in just one day
Tour Itinerary.
- 05:00 – 07:00: Pick up at your hotel in Malang/Surabaya or designated location.
- 07:00: Scenic drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall (approx. 2.5 hours).
- 09:30: 10-minute walk from parking area to Panoramic View Point.
- 09:40: Enjoy the view of the falls from the top.
- 10:10: 30-minute guided hike down to the base of the falls.
- 10:40: Explore the base of Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls.
- 12:00: 10-minute walk to Tetes Cave Waterfall.
- 12:10: Explore Tetes Cave Waterfall.
- 13:00: Return drive to Malang/Surabaya (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes)
- 15:30 – 16:00: Drop off back to Malang or Surabaya

Sure thing! If you begin your tour in Surabaya, you can ask to be dropped off in Malang. And if you start in Malang, you can request to be dropped off in Surabaya or at Juanda Airport. But there will be an additional charge for this service.
Don’t forget to select the option at your booking process
This tour recommended for aged above 6 years old. For travelers who have acrophobia (fear of heights) and child under 10, we do not recommend to trek down to base of waterfalls.

We have different cars depending on how many people are in your group. Small group (1-3 people) Toyota Avanza (plenty of space for bags!), Medium group (4 people) Toyota Innova Reborn (with room for luggage too!), and Large group (5-12 people) Toyota Hiace (lots of space for everyone and their stuff!)
